A total of one hundred and fifty persons received hot meals from officers of the Eastern Division Community Policing Unit.
Among them were the elderly, children, and a number of street dwellers.
The outreach exercise went from the streets of Sangre Grande to the Sangre Grande Home for the Aged, and the Bridge of Hope Children’s Home.
The recipients were elated and very thankful for the act of kindness and for the words of encouragement.
The meals were made possible due to the generous contribution of the Good Samaritans Catering Services.
