A shooting at the Residence nightclub at One Woodbrook Place in Port of Spain has left one man dead and two others wounded.
Reports said the trio, Nikhil Luthra, Eli Hajahlay and Roger Ramdeo were sitting in a cabana outside the nightclub around 2am, when a lone gunman wearing a hoodie and a bandanna around his face, climbed up in the corner of the wall and opened fire on the men.
The gunman then ran to a nearby car and fled the scene.
The victims were rushed to the Port of Spain General hospital, however Luthra, who was shot in the head, died while receiving treatment.
Businessman Hajahlay, 51, who was also shot in the head, remains in critical condition at the PoSGH.
Ramdeo was shot in the stomach and is said to be in a stable condition.
Police are continuing with their investigations.
