Duke fires Farley from the PDP amid feud

The Progressive Democratic Patriots has announced the revocation of three positions within the Party, including that of Farley Augustine.

An email revealed that the National Executive Council held a meeting on September 8th 2022.

At the meeting, the Political Leader declared that all the appointed positions of Deputy Political Leaders have been revoked as allowed per the constitution of the PDP.

These positions were held by Farley Chavez Augustine, Faith B. Yisreal and Alicia Roberts Patterson.

According to the Party these now vacated position will be filled by the appointment of the Political Leader of PDP Tobago.

This comes after Augustine and Duke embarked on a war of words.

Augustine, who is the THA’s Chief Secretary, announced that he is reviewing Duke’s responsibilities as Deputy Chief Secretary after Duke publicly slammed the THA for not providing funding to assist some 27 members of the Roxborough Folk Performers who were due to perform at several cultural events in New York for Labour Day celebrations.
