Dry taps for Point Fortin on Wednesday

Customers in the Point Fortin area will experience an interruption in their water supply this coming Wednesday.

According to a release from the Water and Sewerage Authority (the Authority) customers in the Point Fortin area will experience an interruption in their water supply on Wednesday 16th March 2022, between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
This is due to a leaking 20-inch diameter transmission pipeline at Richardson Street, Point Fortin.

This has become necessary in order to facilitate repairs to a leaking 20-inch diameter transmission pipeline at Richardson Street, Point Fortin.

Areas to be affected include:

Point Fortin
Vance Rive
Cochrane
South Central Road
New Village
Cap-de-Ville
The Authority advises that it may take up to twenty-four (24) hours for the scheduled pipe borne water supply to normalize following the completion of these works.
