Drivers ‘caught’ obeying traffic laws rewarded

Ten drivers caught obeying traffic regulations in the Cumuto district on Thursday were rewarded for being law-abiding citizens by police.

The motorists, who expressed gratitude to the police for recognising their efforts to seeing a safer Trinidad and Tobago, were given tokens of appreciation by the I Support Our Service (ISOS) Secretariat.

The ISOS Team, which is led by W/Cpl Tashika Gomes, distributed to the drivers:
• Four Self-breathalysers Testing Kits
• Three Massy Vouchers
• Two Haagen Dazs Vouchers
• One Kentucky Fried Chicken Voucher

This falls part of the ‘Caught in the Act’ Campaign in which police continue to encourage motorists to adhere to road safety regulations.
The ISOS was also supported by officers of the Northern Division and Municipal Police.
