Drake unveils new ‘Winter Warmth’ scented candle

Drake has unveiled the latest installment in his fragrance collection with the release of the Winter Warmth scented candle.

The candle arrived under his Better World Fragrance House brand umbrella on Thursday (December 22) just in time for the Christmas season.

“Light up the holidays with @betterworldfragrancehouse new scent Winter Warmth,” Drake captioned an Instagram post featuring a trailer promoting the scent.

The cinematic clip takes viewers on a Game of Thrones winter excursion where a cabin house lights up the arctic territory while B.G.O.T.I’s “Give Me Your Lov-N” provides the soundtrack. Drizzy and 21 Savage sampled the 1995 R&B tune for their Her Loss “Spin Bout U” cut.

Winter Warmth is described by the BWFH as a “fruity, cozy scent filled with Fresh Mint, Apples, and Soft Musks nuanced with Strawberry and Balsam creates a decadent wintery fragrance, reminiscent of taking a walk through the city streets.”

Fans can purchase the Winter Warmth candle from the BWFH website for $48 plus shipping and handling fees. The other scent flavors — Carby Musk, Williamsburg Sleepover, Sweeter Tings, Good Thoughts, and Muskoka — are still available to purchase.

Carby Musk retails for $80 and created the most buzz in 2021 ahead of the line’s release as it supposedly smells just like Drake does mixed with “velvet powdery musks along with musks of soft floral, amber and marine connotations.”

Drake has longed fancied himself as a fragrance connoisseur. The OVO leader’s “Tuscan Leather” intro from 2013’s Nothing Was the Same is named after a Tom Ford perfume. The 6 God even has a Drakkar Noir bottle tattooed on his shoulder.

Drizzy isn’t the only rapper to foray into the fragrance industry. Travis Scott launched his own branded candle line in 2020 and in the past Nicki Minaj, Diddy, 50 Cent, Akon and JAY-Z have all released their own fragrances.
