Epidemiologist Dr Avery Hinds says Covid cases are once again on the rise in Trinidad and Tobago.
Speaking at a press conference this morning, he said that while numbers looked good from September last year, a worrisome trend has arisen.
Using a graph he showed the evidence of an increase in the number of positive reported cases.
He explained that positive cases increased by over 30% over the holiday period and over 60% by January this year.
Dr Hinds also revealed a rise in the speed at which the weekly totals are increasing.
