More and more T&T men are having difficulty ‘getting it up’ and their women are not happy about it. Pornography induced erectile dysfunction is on the rise in Trinidad and Tobago.
Dr.Fuad Khan spoke to Izzso media about the issue. He said in most cases the type of sexual activity depicted in porn included a dangerous mixture of violence domination of women.
Dr. Khan said this is manifesting in an increase in “pornography induced male erectile dysfunction”. This he said because the excessive viewing of this type of porn conditions the men to expect the same type of unrealistic, violent and in some instances sadistic behaviours from their partners. Dr. Khan is also concerned about the impact this type of violent porn consumption is having on violence against girls and women in Trinidad and Tobago. It’s also damaging the minds of children who are in many cases accessing porn sites when then are unsupervised. The pandemic lockdown and increased use of internet services has only intensified the situation.
