Former Senate President Dr. Linda Baboolal will be cremated today at the Long Circular Crematorium in St James.
Dr. Baboolal died last Thursday morning at the age of 78. She is reported to have died from pneumonia. A medical doctor specializing in general family practice, she attended Manitoba University, graduated from the Royal College of Surgeons and Physicians in Dublin, Ireland in 1973, and worked extensively in both the public sector and in private practice here in Trinidad and Tobago. She was the MP for San Juan/Baratara and the PNM’s only chairman to date.
The funeral for Dr Baboolal takes place at the All Saints Anglican Church in Port-of-Spain from 10:00am followed by a cremation at the crematorium at 1:30p.m.
