Dr Amery Browne: “Attempts to extract Trini national living in Ukraine underway”

The attempt to safely extract the Trinidadian national who has been living in the Ukraine for the past 11 years is underway.

Yesterday, Foreign and Caricom Affairs Minister Dr Amery Browne tweeted, “Our Trinidad and Tobago national in Kiev is now on the move…heading westward out of the city by car. He is accompanied by his Ukrainian wife.”

Browne assured, “We are monitoring his progress closely.”

And he thanked the nation for their ongoing prayers for the couple’s safety.
