DOMA Head Gregory Aboud: “The Banks can do more as social partners to help the population in the pandemic”

President of the Downtown Owners and Merchants Association (DOMA) said that he thought that given the present pandemic conditions where persons have lost jobs and income, banks could do more to help their clients who may have found themselves in financial difficulty in the midst of the pandemic:

Mr. Aboud also said hat this is an opportune time for the banks to relook their relationships and interactions with their clients. he said this is a moment in history where one hundred years from now we will all be judged as to how we responded to the pandemic and the challenges facing everyone. The banks he said need to realise that they are important social partners with the population.
