Dj Khaled and Roc Nation to produce film about Shyne’s life

Opposition Leader for the House of Representatives in Belize and former Bad Boy Records rapper, Shyne will soon see his life playout on the big screens.

This is music Producer, Dj Khaled is set to create a documentary about his life and time in jail.

Shyne’s story as a rapper had some high points but ultimately he paid the price for being in association with one of the industry’s key men.

Shyne was put in jail after a fateful incident in 1999 at a nightclub involving gunfire found him being put in prison. Shyne ended up being convicted and receiving ten years for charges that included assault and reckless endangerment. The rapper was deported to Belize following his release and would transition into the world of politics.

Since then, Shyne has served as the Opposition Leader for the House of Representatives in Belize. During a recent press conference, Shyne revealed a film on his life was in the works.

Via Instagram, the rapper said, “Very pleased to partner with Walt Disney, ESPN & Andscape to tell the Shyne story.”

Shyne noted DJ Khaled and Roc Nation were executive producing the project.
