Diego Martin school closed for sanitisation

The Diego Martin North Secondary School has been shut down for sanitisation.

Reports suggest that there have been a number of confirmed Covid19 cases at the school, however, it was not revealed whether those cases were teachers or from the student population.

Secondary school students in forms four, five and six have been attending schools physically in preparation for CSEC and CAPE exams.

The school’s principal Susan Rogers issued an internal memo on Thursday, stating that the building would be closed Friday (today) “so that additional sanitisation can take place.”

She said, “Therefore, the previously scheduled means-test application programme for parents of form four has unfortunately been postponed to a date to be announced.”

Teachers were asked to inform the parents of all their students.
