30-year-old man of Diego Martin was charged for possession of firearm and ammunition following an anti-crime exercise on Friday 20th November, 2020.
During the exercise, several search warrants were executed in the Bagatelle Road, Diego Martin area.
While at a house on First Trace, Diego Martin, one Glock 17 pistol along with 16 rounds of nine millimetre ammunition and 41 rounds of nine millimetre ammunition were found and seized.
Dave Thompson was arrested and charged. He will appear before a Port-of-Spain Magistrate on Tuesday, November 24th.
The exercise was coordinated Sgt Carmona, Cpls Hunte, Khan and other police officers attached to the Western Division Task Force.
