Diego Martin Man Appears In Court For Attempted Murder.

A Diego Martin man was remanded into custody after appearing before a Port of Spain Magistrate, charged with the attempted murder of a St. James man.

CHE MURDOCK, 25, of Bridge Road, was also charged with shooting with intent, possession of firearm, possession of ammunition, possession of firearm to endanger life and possession of ammunition to endanger life, when he appeared before the Port of Spain Magistrates’ Court, on Thursday.

The accused was denied bail and the matter adjourned to November 11th 2021.

The victim was found with gunshot wounds in a crashed motor vehicle on September 26th this year along Blue Basin Road, Diego Martin.

He was taken to hospital for treatment by residents of the area.

Investigations were launched into the matter and the accused was arrested in the West End district on October 11th, 2021.

Murdock was charged with the offences by WPC Gittens of the West End Criminal Investigations Department on Wednesday.
