A decomposing body of a Nigerian national was found in a yard in Chaguanas.
according to reports the body was found by a caretaker of the yard on Monday afternoon.
The body was identified as Onichukwu George Chukwuneyenwa, 51, Montrose Street.
According to a police report, the caretaker of the property was cleaning the yard just after 4pm, when he walked to the northern side of the building and saw the deceased naked in a seated position against a wall with his neck slumped partially.
Police said the body was already in a state of decomposition with blood stains on the left side of his body emanating from his neck.
An autopsy is expected to be performed on the body to determine the actual cause of death.
