The decomposing body of a man was found at the Beetham landfill on Thursday afternoon.
Reports indicate that security guards at the landfill reported smelling a foul scent near a shack at the landfill at around 3.35 pm and found the body.
Besson Street police arrived on the scene along with a district medical officer who declared the man dead.
