Most of the counties across Trinidad and Tobago are recording a decline in the number of COVID-19 cases.
This development is being described as very encouraging.
However, the population is reminded to continue to carry out the various public health regulations and personal precautions they have been practicing to ensure this trend is sustained.
Technical Director of Epidemiology, Dr Avery Hinds, highlighted the points while speaking at the Ministry of Health’s virtual news briefing on Monday.
In spite of this positive situation, Dr Hinds said local health officials have noticed an increase in cases of the virus in the counties of St Andrew /St David, Tobago and Nariva / Mayaro.
