David Lee defends Opposition silence at Budget Debate

Opposition Chief Whip David Lee says that it’s not set in stone that speakers on both benches take turns.
Speaking during a UNC press conference yesterday he said that another Government Minister could have spoken after Lisa Morris Julien.
He said Opposition MP’s were waiting to respond to key Ministers such as the Minister of Housing, Works and Transport, Energy, Public Utilities and National Security.
Lee said that he was quite upset that the Prime Minister did not make a contribution and according to him the UNC needed to be ready for that eventuality.
