Ricardo Melville aka Daddy Chinee has captured the 2023 Chutney Soca Monarch title.
After leading from the semis, Daddy Chinee wowed with an energetic performance of his single ‘We Are One’ before the Skinner Park crowd last night, pushing defending monarch GI into third place.
Comedian/singer Kenneth Seupersad was second with ‘Moonilal’.
Katelin Sultan meanwhile, created history yet again, becoming the youngest contestant to win the Queen Title at the Chutney Soca Monarch 2023.
She also placed 5th all-round in the competition.
The Chutney Soca Monarch 2023 results are as follows:

4TH PLACE- RICKY RAMOUTAR
