A claim is coming from the Communications Workers Union there will be pending restructuring at the Telecommunications Services of Trinidad and Tobago.
This alleged position was made public by Secretary General of the CWU, Clyde Elder.
The CWU official disclosed this development while speaking at a news briefing Monday.
Mr Elder said the update of a restructuring exercise at TSTT has serious implications for workers at the company moving forward.
The CWU Secretary General cautioned although it has not been made public this could mean job cuts at TSTT.
Mr Elder also defended the workers in this matter alleging they are not at fault for the present development.
