CSEC student Nicholai Katwaroo is missing

Seventeen-year-old Nicholai Katwaroo is missing.

Katwaroo was last seen at his Gandhi Village, Debe home around 9:00 a.m on Friday.

His father, Raju Katwaroo, believes that his son left home to clear his mind as the Covid-19 pandemic may have had a psychological effect on him.

The younger Katwaroo just sat the Caribbean Examinations Council (CSEC) exams and his father said that he received all his subjects. However, he believes that he misses his friends.

He said after exams, his son and his friends would go to the mall. They would also play cricket and football.

But with the Covid-19 restrictions in place, his son is unable to socialize as he used to.

His father said that relatives have been searching for him in the Siparia, San Fernando and Penal districts.

Nicholai was last seen clad in a pair of black pants, a white t-shirt and white slippers.
