With debate on the Anti-Gang Bill set to resume in the Parliament, one criminologist is warning that it may not achieve the desired results.
Dr Kerron King, speaking with News Power Now, revealed that the problem warrants not just a crime-based solution but also social solutions.
He noted that the legislation cannot be a magic bullet to solve the issue of gangs and crime in Trinidad and Tobago.
He added that there are also many issues regarding gang violence which legislation cannot effectively address.
