After about ten days of having Covid-19 deaths fewer than ten, fatalities from the virus reported today stood at fourteen.
This information is highlighted in the Ministry of Health’s latest clinical update on Wednesday.
The Ministry said the fourteen deaths have pushed the overall number of deaths from the virus in Trinidad and Tobago to three thousand, five hundred and ninety-six.
The Ministry also reported seven hundred and twenty-two new positive cases from the virus.
There are currently twenty thousand, nine hundred and ninety-four active positive cases locally.
Three hundred and eighteen patients have been hospitalised.
