Covid-19 Vaccines Described As Having A Good Guard Dog By NWRHA Director, Dr Anthony Parkinson.

A senior medical official describes the Covid-19 vaccines as an individual having a good guard dog.

The analogy was used by Director of Health of the North West Regional Health Authority, Dr Anthony Parkinson.

Dr Parkinson made the comment while addressing the Ministry of Health virtual news briefing Wednesday.

He said the vaccines help the body’s immune system detect intruders and address the issue.

Dr Parkinson also cited the importance of vulnerable people getting vaccinated against the virus.
