Covid-19 Safe Zones To Be Closely Monitored.

The public is being assured Covid-19 Safe Zones will be closely monitored in Trinidad and Tobago.

This from Technical Director of Epidemiology, Dr Avery Hinds, while speaking at Monday’s Ministry of Health virtual news briefing.

On Monday the venture became operational.

Businesses that can operate as safe zones include restaurants, bars, gyms, theatres, casino and water parks.

Only vaccinated people twelve years of age and over, who present a valid vaccination card and a form of identification at point of entry, are allowed to enter the premises.

Dr Hinds said a close watch will be placed on how the initiative is unfolding.
