MP Indarsingh made the appeal on today’s observance of Universal Health Coverage Day.
The Opposition MP said this position is critical given the increasing cost of living, the progressively competitive job market, the rise in non-communicable lifestyle diseases and a touted decline in mental wellbeing.
Mr Indarsingh said the occasion is observed as a day when leaders from all over the world come together, whether on a local, regional or international level to mobilize their efforts toward the creation of a more robust, functional and accessible healthcare system for all.
