Discussions have started between the Couva/Point Lisas Chamber of Commerce and the United States Embassy Port of Spain to establish trade links between Trinidad and Tobago and the United States.
In a media release on Thursday, the Chamber said items discussed included the Caribbean Basin Initiative, the domestic Export Assistance Centres established by the U.S. Department of Commerce to assist U.S. exporters, and the overall investment climate in Trinidad and Tobago and in the United States.
Recently the Chamber met with the Commercial/Economic Unit of the U.S. Embassy at the Chamber’s Hall in Camden, Couva.
