Gun violence continued in Carenage with the shooting of a pair of cousins on Monday.
Around 5:00p.m., two cousins were driving along L’Anse Mitan Road when the car in which they were driving was shot at multiple times. The 30-year-old driver was shot in the arm while his younger cousin, an 18-year-old, sustained two gunshot wounds to his head. The 30-year-old drove to St. James Medical Complex where he was treated for his injuries and discharged. But, his younger cousin was transferred to the Port-of-Spain General Hospital where he remains warded in a serious condition.
Police are continuing investigations.
