A couple was charged for the possession of a gun, ammunition, camouflage clothing and drug paraphernalia.
During an exercise conducted last Friday night, the 41-year-old man and 40-year-old woman, were arrested and detained for several offences. Police found a Nissan Slyphy on the couple’s compound with fraudulent plates. The vehicle was registered to the owner of a Hilux.
The man is expected to be charged with having an unregistered vehicle. He was also charged with possession of the firearm and ammunition, in addition to possession of camouflage clothing under the Summary Offences Act. The woman is expected to be charged with the possession of a firearm and ammunition.
