The county of Victoria is leading the way in terms of the number of persons which have contracted COVID-19 in Trinidad.
Chief Medical Officer, Dr Roshan Parasram, told the Ministry of Health virtual news briefing Wednesday, Victoria has twenty-eight percent of cases for the virus.
Dr Parasram said Victoria is followed by Tobago with twelve point nine percent.
The county of St Patrick is third with eleven point six percent.
St George Central is at ten percent and St George East eight point six percent.
Dr Parasram said a few weeks ago local health officials noticed a proportion of the cases were in counties Victoria, Caroni, St George East and Tobago.
However, this time around health officials saw a reduction in county Caroni and St George East in the number of cases.
