Counselling Services Being Provided For Families Of Deceased Divers, Says Minister Young

Families of the four divers who lost their lives recently while doing work for LMCS at Paria Fuel Trading Company Limited are being exposed to counselling services.

The services started on February 26th this year and continue to be available should the family wish to utilise this service.

It was initially offered to the families for a period of one year and will be extended as required.

Confirmation of this comes from Minister in the Office of the Prime Minister, Stuart Young, while speaking during the question and answer period in the House of Representatives Friday afternoon.

Minister Young also defended the independence of the investigative team set up to probe the development.
