With a large number of the population still hesitant about taking the Covid19 vaccine, Councillor for the Toco/Sangre Grande Regional Corporation, Terry Rondon, is now doing his part to incentivise the members of his community.
Rondon is giving out one hamper a day to vaccinated people in his area.
The hampers are for people from the Valencia East/Toco region and each recipient is decided by a draw at the end of the day based on those who received vaccines at the Toco Health Centre.
Rondon is undertaking the initiative using his personal funds and said he intends to keep the incentive going.
He said “As long as I can afford it I will continue.”
