Council for Responsible Political Behaviour impressed with Tobago’s Assemblymen maturity

Chairman of the Council for Responsible Political Behaviour, Dr Bishnu Ragoonath, says the display of maturity by the twelve recently elected Assemblymen in Tobago will be a key factor moving forward.

On Wednesday at a news briefing Prime Minister, Dr. Keith Rowley, said following a meeting he had with the Assemblymen they agreed to meet, discuss and decide on interim arrangements which will put the THA in a position to conduct its affairs.

There is a six –six deadlock following the January 25th THA election.

Speaking with NEWS POWER NOW this afternoon, the political analyst reflected on the development noting the importance maturity among the Assemblymen.

Meanwhile, Attorney at Law, Martin George, in a statement reflected on suggestions announced by the Progressive Democratic Patriots on Wednesday to treat with the latest development in the Tobago House of Assembly.

Attorney George also commented on whether the proposed arrangements coming from the PDP camp fall within the law.
