There has been no change made to this country’s hours of curfew.
This was clarified this morning by Police Commissioner Gary Griffith, after a fake release was shared to social media of a change in curfew hours.
In an update this morning, he said the curfew hours remain unchanged:
Commissioner of Police, Gary Griffith, takes note of posts making claims about the change of hours for the curfew this weekend and would like to inform the public that it is FAKE NEWS.
The curfew hours of 9 pm to 5 am will remain as is until further advised, and any changes will be communicated to the public through the official channel of the TTPS’ Corporate Communications Unit on behalf of the Commissioner of Police.
