Patient health care at public health institutions was not compromised during Wednesday’s power outage in Trinidad.
Confirmation of this comes from Minister of Health, Terrence Deyalsingh.
The Health Minister was questioned by the Opposition Member of Parliament for Pointe-a-Pierre on the subject in the House of Representatives Friday afternoon.
Minister Deyalsingh dismissed claims of four deaths during the black out and indicated some of the contingency measures which were in place to address development of this nature.
