Consumers are warned to brace for an increase in prices at supermarkets nationwide

The Supermarket Association of Trinidad and Tobago (SATT) have noted that suppliers have signalled price increases to retailers at various points in 2019.

According to a media release issued yesterday Saturday 4th January, 2020, SATT claims that the latest increase came in the closing week of 2019 citing that both Angostura Limited and National Flour Mills (NFM) signalled price increases in different categories of products to supermarkets nationwide.
