CNN Used By Tourism Trinidad To Promote TT

The Chief Executive Officer of Tourism Trinidad Limited, Carla Cupid, cites the use of international television networks such as CNN to advertise and promote Trinidad and Tobago.

She said the aim is to use the medium to feature unique aspects of the rich cultural life and other areas special to this country.

Responding to questions posed to her by the Chairman of the Committee, Dr Maria Dillon Remy Cupid,  at the 15th Meeting of a Joint Select Committee on Foreign Affairs on Wednesday, evealed the significance of using this approach.

It was revealed negotiations continue with CNN in a bid to feature other elements and opportunities available locally.
