As the United States struggles to manage the uproar over the murder of George Floyd, popular news network CNN has been broadcasting all #blacklivesmatter nationwide protests and riots, taking place across the country.
However, several social media reports are claiming that CNN accidentally aired a different type of graphic footage.
Last week, according to MTOnews, CNN allegedly inadvertently aired video showing two black men engaged in gay relations during the George Floyd riots in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
In the image posted on social media, shows the men sexually pleasing each other, while rioters looted stores around them.
This isn’t the first time that CNN accidentally broadcast very explicit content over their airwaves. In 2016, the Daily Mail reported that CNN accidentally aired a pornographic scene during an episode of Anthony Bourdain’s Parts Unknown on CNN. Images of CNNs alleged slip up was widely circulated on social media, accompanied by the hashtag #BourdainPorn.
A person purported to be a CNN viewer posted several photos of her screen on Twitter, claiming that she was expecting to tune in for Bourdain’s travelogue but was met with explicit images of porn star Riley Quinn instead.
The porn movie, according to the user, went on for at least 30 minutes. She first saw it on CNN around 10:30 pm, watched something else, and kept checking periodically until the channel blacked out completely at 11 pm.
CNN has since denied that they ever aired the video.
