The population is being urged to pay attention to the benefits to be derived should more persons become vaccinated against Covid-19 in Trinidad and Tobago.
This sentiment was expressed by government senator, Dr Muhammad Yunus Ibrahim, as he delivered his maiden speech in the Senate on Tuesday.
Speaking during the Appropriation Financial Year 2022 Bill, Dr Ibrahim expressed his confidence in the country getting back to a level of normalcy.
However, he said this can be accomplished when more individuals are inoculated against the virus.
Dr Ibrahim also indicated the role each citizen can play during this challenging period as they look out for each other in care and togetherness.
