The Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS) is once again urging motorists to exercise care and caution when driving on the nation’s roads during the current Christmas season and the upcoming Carnival Season.
This warning comes after three road fatalities were recorded in the Central, Northern and Eastern Divisions, between 3:30pm, on Sunday 1st December 2019 and 2:00am, on Monday 2nd December 2019, in highly preventable circumstances.
Drivers are being urged to remember that all road traffic laws must be adhered to ensure a safe journey by all.
The TTPS is also reminding motorists that there will be a heightened policing presence in the coming months and officers will continue to enforce all road traffic laws to help save lives and keep families together.
