Chopped to death – 2 men found in separate incidents

Two men were chopped to death in separate incidents over the weekend.
They occurred in Claxton Bay and Carapichaima.

Around 9:30am yesterday, police were alerted to a man’s body found at New City Avenue in Claxton Bay.

The victim, who is yet to be identified, reportedly had his hands and feet bound and his neck was almost severed.

The victim was bareback and wore a pair of blue three-quarter jeans.

Hours later, around midday, police were alerted about a semi-decomposing body with chop wounds near a river at Brickfield Road, Carapichaima.

He was later identified as Antonio Mungal of Coconut Village in Carapichaima.

The police do not have motives for the deaths.
