A 28-year old man, identified as Keron Francois, was chopped to death in the Heights of Guanapo, Arima last evening.
Another man is nursing chop wounds following the incident.
Reports are that at around 5.45 pm police received a report of a murder along the Heights of Guanapo, and on arrival some 15 minutes later, found a man who was nursing wounds to his hand.
The man then notified police of another victim, whose body was about 180 feet off the street.
That victim was discovered moments later, lifeless, with a deep chop wound to the back of the head and back.
The injured man was taken for medical treatment and is currently warded in a serious but stable condition at the Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex.
