Chief Sec. meets with FAO rep to TT to discuss food security

Chief Secretary of the Tobago House of Assembly, Ancil K. Dennis received a Courtesy Call recently from Mr. Reuben Hamilton Robertson, Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) Representative, to Trinidad and Tobago and Suriname.

The Meeting was also attended by Ms. Pathleen Titus, Technical Advisor and Mr. Karl Murray, Technical Officer, both of the Division of Food Production, Forestry and Fisheries.

The FAO is a specialized agency of the United Nations that leads international efforts to defeat hunger.

The organization’s goal is to achieve food security for all and to ensure that people have regular access to enough high-quality food to lead active, healthy lives.

The meeting was held at the Office of the Chief Secretary, Division of Tourism, Culture and Transportation.
