On behalf of the United States Embassy, Charge d Affaires, Shante Moore extends condolences to the family and friends of Premattie and Nicholas Ramskriet who died tragically in New York on September 1st, as well as US citizens, other residents and other visitors who have suffered losses due to the unprecedented rainfall and flooding from the remnants of Hurricane Ida.
Mr Moore said similar to the Caribbean, the United States and citizens also experience and share the challenges and concerns that hurricanes, tropical storms, floods and other weather–related events have on the health, safety, infrastructure economies and wellbeing of our countries.
