Chaguanas Market closed as vendor tests positive for COVID-19

The Chaguanas Market will now be closed to the public with immediate effect as a vendor has tested positive for COVID-19.

Chaguanas Mayor, Faaiq Mohammed made the announcement via his Facebook page last evening.

Mohammed said the Chaguanas market will be sanitized and we will be guided by the CMOH on a date of reopening.

He also said the corporation taking all the necessary precautions to ensure that burgesses are safe.
