Police are investigating the murder of a 33-year-old Chaguanas man, which occurred during curfew hours on Saturday night.
The victim has been identified as Akiel “Canesucker” Sullivan, 33, of Walcott Lane in Enterprise.
Residents said they heard gunshots around 10.30 pm and immediately notified Central Division police.
When officers arrived on the scene, they found Sullivan on the ground at School Lane, off Chrissie Terrace, a short distance from where he lived.
He had gunshot wounds to his body.
Sullivan was taken to the Chaguanas health facility, but was pronounced dead on arrival.
