CEPEP donates eight desktop computers to four primary schools

The CEPEP Company Limited distributed eight (8) desktop computers to four (4) primary schools yesterday as part of its commitment to assisting schools adjust to the challenges associated with providing online education to students. They are the Ste Madeleine Government Primary School, Diego Martin Government Primary School, Chaguanas Government Primary School, and the Pleasantville Government Primary School.

Each of these schools received two (2) desktop computers during a small distribution ceremony at the Company’s head office on Ste Madeleine.

Chief Executive Officer Mr. Keith Eddy remarked, “It is our duty as an organisation, geared towards building communities, to assist where we can. We urge other corporate entities to assist these schools and ensure that teachers and students are provided with the resources they need to function effectively as we navigate through the turbulent waters of the COVID-19 pandemic. It is our hope that these devices make it easier for teachers to execute their duties.”

On receiving the desktop computers this morning, Principal of the Chaguanas Government Primary School, Mrs Kamala Mohammed thanked the Management and Staff of the CEPEP Company for their generosity, saying that they were very grateful for the donation and it would definitely improve the efficiency of their staff as they seek to carry out their duties.

The CEPEP Company Limited remains committed to improving lives and building communities through strategic programmes designed to assist the most vulnerable in society.
