CEPEP Carries Out Maintenance At Schools To Ensure Readiness For Reopening

CEPEP says it is focusing on providing ground maintenance services to about 74 primary schools, eight secondary schools and twenty-seven early childhood care centers across the country.

The company says this is being done to ensure early childhood care centers; primary and secondary schools are clean and ready for the physical re-opening of schools on Monday.

In a media release, CEPEP said for the month of January 2022, a total of 109 school facilities have been readied for the return of students to the physical classroom.

The CEPEP Company said it has been providing ground maintenance services for these facilities during the last two years of the COVID-19 pandemic.

It pledged to continue this exercise which include the cutting and clearing of lawns, cleaning of fences and verges, maintenance of gardens and power-washing by special request.

CEPEP Chief Executive Officer, Keith Eddy, said its teams have been deployed and instructed to assist the principals and administrative staff of these schools by providing any additional environmental clean-up work necessary.

It said this would include pressure washing halls and corridors and the pruning of small trees and shrubbery around the school’s premise.
