Central Bank Deputy Governor says data appears to show that the country is on its way to recovering from the financial deficit it faced in recent years.
Dr Dorian Noel, bank records shows the Government has recorded a surplus of 3 billion dollars.
He said the country appears to be financially stable due in part to a stable financial market.
Looking forward, he suggested that predictions appear to be skewed downward but warned that there is an element of uncertainty.
Addressing the local landscape he cited the importance of adequate economic buffers.
